As part of its commitment to enhancing international cooperation in education, Binawan University welcomed a delegation from an Austrian university for a series of strategic collaboration events. This initiative aims to strengthen academic and professional synergy in developing human resources in the nursing and healthcare sectors.

On January 23, 2025, Binawan University hosted a Welcoming Ceremony and a facility tour at Binawan European Center in Cianjur, West Java. This event served as a platform for both institutions to exchange insights and introduce the facilities and educational methods applied at Binawan University. The visit is expected to be the first step in fostering stronger academic relations and opening opportunities for students and faculty members to gain international experiences.

The following day, on January 24, 2025, the delegation from the Austrian university, along with the Binawan University team, continued their agenda with a visit to Gatot Soebroto Central Army Hospital. This visit played a crucial role in introducing the healthcare service system and best medical practices implemented in Indonesia. Subsequently, both institutions signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the International Nurse Development Program Scholarship. This program aims to provide broader opportunities for nursing students to enhance their competencies at a global level through scholarships and international-scale training.

As the final part of the visit, the delegation had the opportunity to tour Binawan Universitys facilities to gain a deeper understanding of the learning methods and infrastructure support provided to students. This initiative is part of a joint effort to produce competent, highly competitive healthcare professionals ready to face global challenges in the medical sector.
